Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Programs: Students Before Profits Award 2018

The Students Before Profits Awards were created to recognize nonprofit colleges and universities offering degrees that put students before profits and education before the bottom-line.  For our ranking of the 2018 Online Bachelor’s in Business winners, we chose online Business degree programs from nonprofit colleges and universities, accredited by independent and trusted accreditation boards, with lower than average tuition costs, and have ranked them by affordability.

Deciding the specifics of what type of college education can seem like a very daunting task.  With the amount of colleges and degree programs available, some students may find themselves overwhelmed by the variety of programs available.  At Nonprofit Colleges Online, we believe that pursuing your education online can provide important benefits over pursuing a degree on-campus.  At most colleges, online degree programs are not only identical to their on-campus program, they are also much cheaper.  By offering their programs online, colleges are able to eliminate costly overhead and provide their programs at a much cheaper tuition rate.  Online programs also afford students a greater degree of control over their scheduling which is incredibly helpful to students that have additional scheduling obligations outside of an education.  Another often overlooked advantage of online education is that it frees students up from selecting a program based on geographic proximity and allows students to consider the best program despite the school at which it is located.

Enrolling in a Bachelor’s in Business program is a fantastic way for students to begin his or her education towards working in a variety of management roles within a business, company, or corporation.  Through a Bachelor’s in Business program, students will be introduced to a variety of core business competencies and skills that will prepare them to enter into the business world.  Students will gain a preliminary understanding of accounting, economics, human resource management, marketing, organizational behavior, strategic management, and much more.  For students who are interested in working for a business or perhaps owning their own business someday, the Bachelor’s in Business program is a crucial step towards gaining the knowledge and skills needed to successfully do so.

Note that tuition rates listed below are based on cost per credit and individual programs may have additional fees.
