1. Geteducated.com Distance Learning Scholarship
This scholarship is provided to distance learning students to help them be able to have a more affordable education. This scholarship is awarded twice a year, in April and October. It is awarded based on merit as well as financial needs. This scholarship can be used at any accredited online learning college and does not have to be from a specific list of online learning colleges. Requirements for this scholarship include a 500-word essay, a minimum GPA of 3.0 and applicants must be United States citizens currently enrolled in an accredited online college.
2. The SR Education Group Scholarships
There are four different types of scholarships available from this organizations including a specific scholarship for students that are attending online learning colleges. These scholarships are given out based on merit, but minorities are generally given preference. These scholarships have different requirements depending on the year and time the scholarship is applied for, but most require a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an essay of at least 500 words. This scholarship is only available to United States citizens and can only be used at an accredited online learning college.
3. Scholars for Development International Distance Learning Scholarship

4. Western Illinois Distance Learning Scholarship
There are many opportunities for students attending the Western Illinois University distance learning program; this one is specifically for students enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies program. There are alumni scholarship funds as well as personal funds to help students with up to $500 per semester in scholarship help. These scholarships are given out on a merit and financial need basis and are determined by the entities that represent the scholarship type. 5. Christian Distance Learning Scholarship

The AFCEA Distance Learning Scholarship is awarded to second year students that are pursuing a Bachelor or Master of science degree. The University of Wisconsin Platteville offers a distance learning scholarship specific to online students pursuing an educational degree. It is offered by a private entity and can be awarded to nearly any online student participating in the specific degree program.
