Best Online Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice: Students Before Profits Award 2015

Best-Online-Bachelors-in-Criminal-Justice-Students-Before-Profits-Award-2015
Our Students Before Profits Award was created to promote nonprofit colleges and universities offering online degree programs that put students before profits and education before the bottom line.

For our 2015 Online Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice award winners, we selected online programs from accredited, nonprofit colleges and universities with objectively lower than average tuition cost and have ranked the programs according to their affordability.

The intersecting fields of criminal justice and criminology have evolved significantly over the past two decades and continue to take on more of a modern, high-technological focus. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, graduates of undergraduate criminal justice programs can obtain practical law enforcement jobs in high-crime areas, in investigation and detective work, for government agencies, or in administration and criminological theory. Students who pursue advanced degrees in the field will later have the highest-paying, most upwardly mobile careers.

Affordability, accreditation and nonprofit status are our primary criteria when it comes to ranking these programs, but many of these programs are consistently ranked among the top by other national publications and we believe they deserve to be considered among the best online bachelor’s in criminal justice programs available.

Note that tuition rates listed below are based on total program costs for out-of-state, full-time students. In-state rates are often less expensive, and part-time cost per credit hour is often more expensive.
